After they have been dipped in the scented soy wax, they are hand posed, combed, fluffed, and dried. The wax dipped plush animals are not mass produced therefore none will turn out exactly alike - each wax dipped plush animal you receive will be unique. They have the same scent effect as a candle, but without the danger of a flame! The scent will last for several months.
Our wax dipped plush animals are decoratively wrapped in cellophane complete with instructions, a decorative stand or bench, and topped off with a decorative bow or ribbon.
Tending to your scented wax dipped plush animal is easy. Place them out of direct sunlight and florescent lighting. These lighting conditions have a tendency to weaken the fragrances.
The average wax dipped plush will keep its scent for 60-90 days. When the scent fades place it in a closed plastic bag for a few hours. This will let them moisturize and keep their scent sharp. You can also use a blow dryer on low heat for one or two minutes on your plush toy to refresh the scent. This will make the scents stronger, it can cause dryness to the tips of the hair, which will only affect their appearance. Cleaning a wax dipped plush toy is easy! Just use a blow dryer set to a cool setting and blow the dust off. If you do not have a blow dryer with a cool setting, this can be done successfully by blowing off the dust yourself.
